Ryan fought against a girl who was a foot taller and 50 lbs heavier. Ryan took a couple good shots to the head but came back fighting hard. She won first place in sparring and second place in kata.
Sierra also did a great job. She loves competing and doesn't seem to get nervous.
Sierra got two first places....both in sparring and kata. Not bad for a seven year old....she was one day short of her 8th birthday! :)
Ryan and Sierra are very proud of their medals! We are very proud of their continued dedication and daily practice. They are strong athletes!

Wish I could see them compete. You should post on your blog when some of their upcoming tournaments are... and where.
besides being very talented...do you think the judges give them first place for being sooooo cute?
