She was excited and ready to make promises to her Heavenly Father and be blessed in return.
Sierra is sparkly and clean.
She felt like a princess in her special, white baptism dress. This dress was made entirely from my wedding dress for my daughters. Ryan wore it on her baptism and passed it down to Sierra. I know Sierra felt beautiful and cherished this awesome day.
I noticed these white lillies in my front yard after the baptism and it made me think symbolically about purity, sin and forgiveness.
The smaller flower is wilted, yellowed and not as beautiful as the other blossom. When we make wrong choices in our lives, we are tarnished and don't shine like we are able. I know that when we are baptized, and thereafter when we repent, we can become white again; pure and forgiven, amazingly beautiful like the lilly! Like Sierra!
