The girls participated in a horse riding event last weekend at P&M Arena called a Gymkhana. Since it's October, they had a costume parade for the horses and riders. Sierra and MoJo were clowns! They painted handprints all over him, gave him striped socks, and matching wigs! They were so adorable! Sierra won 2nd place in her age group!!! She got to pick out a pumpkin for her prize and get her picture taken for the arena newsletter.
Ryan and Missy were vampires. They both wore black with spider webs, fangs and spray painted red hair. Ryan looked scarey gothic.
Both girls and horses loved parading around the arena. Thanks to Karen and Kevin for helping us dress up and always letting us ride their horses. They are great friends!
The girls also rode the horses in some events. They did great! This was the first time Ryan competed by herself- without a lead line. She was confident and meandered around through the barrels with ease. Her skills are improving so much. Sierra's MoJo wanted to run and took off on her during a time-only run. But, Sierra held on tight and pulled him up to a stop. She competed in the lead line group and finished 2nd and 3rd. They love riding.
