Feet on the Hardwood Floor

Phoenix Suns Basketball has been part of our family since I was a little girl. I can remember having a babysitter watch me and my siblings while our parents went to "the game" (at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, mind you!) . Let's just take a quick trip down memory lane.....

Finally, I get to go to the games as a grown-up! Thanks to Bill and Dad....we have great seats, Row 9(kind of...long story), great team and great date nights out. We love to get there early enough to watch the players warm up and of course for the national anthem (see earlier post). And, we never leave early! It's just not being a true fan.

So, Bill and I went to a game last week and they still hadn't fixed our seats. What's with the folding chairs??? Season ticket holders for 30 years and paying plenty of cash and we get fall on your a** chairs with no armrests? Yes, we're a little SUNS snooty! So we complained. Again.

What's that saying? "The squeaky wheel gets the oil." ? It worked. At least for that game. They gave us front row seats and backstage passes for food and drink. It was so fun! It's amazing how beautiful Raja Bell is when you are 4 feet away from him! :0 I got to give the players high-fives as they went into the locker room at half time and ate dinner with Tom Chambers at the next table. Am I star struck? I tried to act cool, anyway. The game went into double overtime and we won! It was a wonderful night! Did I mention that I was sitting next to the hottest guy?? No, Marjerle was on the bench. It was Billy! The best part is always going out with my favorite husband! Thanks babe!
