Jumping into 2010!

Happy New Year 2010 !

The girls got a trampoline for Christmas and it has provided hours of fun already. The girls, cousins and friends have jumped and laughed and had numerous "bum wars". We are thankful to live in Az. and enjoy the nice winter weather, perfect for outdoors playing. (Pretty soon that tramp. will be a sizzling bed of emptiness.)

New Year's Eve was quiet. Bill was very sick and slept on the couch for 16 hours straight. Not even kidding.

So, the girls and I built a fire in our backyard and roasted marshmellows. We enjoyed the rare, blue moon and made toasts to the New Year with our Martinelli's sparkling cider. It was perfect.

We have also made a committment to do more of the things we love as a family.

.....like camping. We love getting dirty and away from the cares and spoils of everyday life. We enjoy the beautiful world our Heavenly Father has created for us. It is a perfect opportunity to reflect on the important things in life, like family!

and......

....ride horses. We all have talents and strengths. Things that make us feel happy and important. For our girls, they love horses. This year we will focus on strengths and the positives in our lives.

And we planted more fruit trees. We already had 12 orange trees and we added a pomegranite, peach, apple and apricot.

Bill says the trees respresent hope for the future. They may not bear fruit this year or even next. But, when we nurture things with love and add patience, the results can be extraordinary and sweet.

We are ready for 2010!
