Freebies!

My friend Julee and I scored big time at the mall the other night. These economic times call for drastic measures. We have no pride. We are totally up to begging and batting our eyelashes to get what we want.
First of all, Julee is my only friend that can spend an hour with me at the MAC counter. And we can do this every time we get together. There are just so many colors and so much glitter for two girls to soak in. Then we realized that make-up ladies will give you samples to take home! You know, just to make sure the product lives up to all the hype. And of course, we promise to come back to pay full price when we are completely satisfied.

Then, the trick is to leave the mall only when stores are closing their drop-down gates and emptying the trash. Julee needed new, decorated phone covers for her iphone. Needed! Well, the lady was taking forever getting the darn things on and off the phone (even with the niffty tool) and by the time Julee picked her passion.....the computers were shut down for the evening. "Just take them !" super, sales-lady of the year said! Free! "No, I couldn't"! "Well, if you insist!" $30-$40 dollors worth of darn good merchandise.

Finally, as if our hearts couldn't hold more generosity.....the Cinnabon counter boy gives us these.......


A whole box (each!) of round, oozing, cinnamon sprinkled cinnabuns!! They may be a good, 12 hours old I tell you. But we have eaten every last one of them! And they were worth every.........wait they were FREE too!!!
