Ryan participated in the 4th grade musical last week at school. It taught and celebrated the history of Jazz music in America. Ryan played the part of "Thelonius Monk". Throughout the play the students referred to Thelonius but no one ever got to see him/her. She arrived at the end of the show to give a speech about Jazz. It was the finale and was so darling! She memorized her part and delivered without fail.
As you can see from the pictures, Ryan was totally in costume and most of the students didn't know it was her! She completely soaked in the attention and fame! She told me that kids were asking for her autograph!

No wonder she was chosen for this part....she said it with such clarity and totally played the part. I was proud to be the auntie of the star!
