"Missy" the Horse

This is why we moved to Queen Creek and bought land with our house! We are boarding "Missy" in our back pasture for a couple of weeks! This is one of the horses that the girls ride each week. Missy belongs to our friend Karen.....we have officially adopted the horses (Missy, MoJo and Maco) and Karen has adopted Ryan and Sierra. It's a match made in heaven for our family. The girls love to ride and have been improving steadily over the past year or so.

Ryan woke up early this week so she could go out and play with Missy....feeding her treats and hay, brushing her and just talking together. When Ryan rides she enjoys meandering around and praising Missy when she does well. Ryan eats, sleeps and plays horses!

Sierra is confident and sassy out on the horse. She definately lets it be known who is boss and makes that horse do exactly what she wants. She has taught Mo how to side-step up against the fence. It's quite a trick and she performs it easily.

We love waking up and seeing the horse out our window. I'm sure we'll be getting a horse of our own one day. Ryan says she already has $63 saved up!
